Edgar Guerrero

Edgar Guerrero is a seasoned Process Engineer at Qorvo, Inc., with a focus on plasma engineering and semiconductor technologies, including GaN/GaAs and BAW. Since joining Qorvo in November 2021, Edgar has contributed to process development and improvement, building on previous experience as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Texas at Dallas and a Process Engineering Intern at Qorvo. Notably, during an internship, Edgar implemented methods to reduce process time by over 50% for ion beam trimming tools to meet SAW demand. Edgar also has a background in education as a Mathematics Teacher and has held various academic roles, including mentor and teaching assistant. Edgar holds a PhD and a master's degree in Materials Science and Engineering, as well as master's degrees in Mechanical Engineering and bachelor's degrees in Chemistry and Biology from the University of Texas-Pan American.
