Shadi Hawawini

Shadi Hawawini is a seasoned professional in technical product management and marketing, currently serving as the Director of Technical Product Management/Marketing for IoT at Qorvo, Inc. since February 2021. In this role, Shadi leads the group's wireless connectivity solutions roadmap and engages with ecosystem partners to enhance UWB technologies. Shadi also mentors startups in the energy and IoT sectors at Plug and Play Tech Center. Prior experience includes serving as Vice President of Technical Marketing and Product Management at Everactive, where Shadi developed an industry-first AI/ML-driven batteryless cloud-connected IoT sensor and played a key role in securing venture capital funding. Earlier positions at Qualcomm and Summit Microelectronics involved significant contributions to charging technology and product definition in the mobile devices sector. Shadi holds advanced degrees in Electrical Engineering from Santa Clara University and San José State University, along with executive education from the Haas School of Business at UC Berkeley.
