Romuald Deshayes

Romuald Deshayes has had a varied work experience since 2007. From 2007-2009, they held a student job as a cashier at SA Champion and Galeria Inno. In 2009, they completed a three-month internship at the Numediart Institute where they developed a monumental projection software. Romuald also served as a student teaching assistant for algorithmics and programming practical sessions at UMONS from 2009-2010. In 2010, they were awarded a PhD in Computer Science (FRS-FNRS - FRIA) at UMONS and was a research assistant for a FEDER project. From 2013-2015, they were an external IT expert at INNOVIRIS. Since 2016, they have been with Qover, where they have served in a number of roles, including SaaS Platform Product Owner, InsurTech Ninja - Business Analyst/Senior Software Engineer, and InsurTech Ninja - Senior Software Engineer.

Romuald Deshayes' education history includes a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Computer Science from UMONS from 2011 to 2015, a Master in Sciences Informatiques from UMONS from 2006 to 2011, and a Secondaire in sciences économiques and mathématiques from Athenée Royal Jules Destrée from 2000 to 2006. Additionally, they have obtained certifications in Building Blocks of Express.js, ES2015: The Shape of JavaScript to Come, JavaScript Road Trip Part 1, JavaScript Road Trip Part 2, JavaScript Road Trip Part 3, and Real Time Web with Node.js from Code School.
