Jan Erik Meidell, Ph.D has a diverse work experience spanning over many industries. Jan Erik Meidell, Ph.D earned their Bachelor's degree in finance from Université de Fribourg - Universität Freiburg in 1993. Jan Erik then obtained additional certifications as a Certified Trader from Euronext in June 1995 and as a Certified Eurex Derivatives Trader from Eurex in May 1995. Later, they completed their Master's degree in Economics from HEC Lausanne - The Faculty of Business and Economics of the University of Lausanne in 2002. Meidell also completed a Program for Doctoral Students in Economics from the Swiss National Bank Study Center - Gerzensee in 2006. From 2005 to 2008, they worked as a PhD Student and Teaching and Research Assistant at HEC Lausanne. Their research work continued at Norwegian School of Economics (NHH) where Meidell completed their Doctorate in Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Economics in 2016.
