Viktor Cherniak

Viktor Cherniak, P.Eng., has extensive experience in the field of fuel-fired equipment safety evaluations and compliance. Currently serving as Compliance Senior Engineer at QPS Evaluation Services since January 2018, Viktor specializes in safety evaluations and approvals for various fuel-fired appliances including boilers and process heaters. Prior roles include SI Lead Engineer at Intertek and Certification & Inspection Specialist at CSA Group Testing & Certification Inc., where responsibilities included safety evaluations for industrial gas, oil, and solid fuel burning equipment. Viktor also gained valuable experience as a Gas Technician at Garney Heating and Air Conditioning Corp and as a Process Control & Electrical Design Engineer at Slovak Power Engineering Corp. Educational credentials include a Bachelor's and Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from The Slovak University of Technology in Bratislava.
