Juan Sebastián Duque

Juan Sebastián Duque has a diverse work experience in various roles and companies. Juan Sebastián is currently an ODX1 Fellow at On Deck, a position they started in 2022. Prior to that, from 2017 to the present, Juan held the role of COO and Growth Hacker at Qrador - Tu próxima vivienda, where they played a crucial role in transforming the way people buy homes.

Before their time at Qrador, Juan worked at the Universidad de los Andes - Colombia. From 2015 to 2018, they served as a Professor of Applied Project Engineering, helping students develop innovation and problem-solving skills. Juan Sebastián also collaborated with other professors to create and manage the course on Science, Technology, and Innovation.

In 2015, Juan co-founded Income.Digital, an e-commerce solution provider. As a co-founder, they were responsible for creating online sales channels, managing ad campaigns, and leading sales teams across different industries.

Prior to Income.Digital, Juan co-founded and served as a consultant at Grupo Inspiro from 2011 to 2016. During this time, they provided consulting services and contributed to the company's growth and success.

In 2013, Juan co-founded BebésyPañales.com, an e-commerce platform specializing in baby products in Colombia. The company gained recognition and attracted investment during its initial rapid growth phase.

Juan's earlier experiences include serving as Vice President at Capítulo Empreandinos in 2013-2014, working as a Consultant at Dugar Consultoría SAS from 2009 to 2013, and as an Engineer Consultant at HIDROMECANICAS LTDA from 2010 to 2011.

Furthermore, they gained valuable experience as an Engineering intern at Lyonnaise des Eaux in 2009, where they worked on data optimization projects and developed software to improve the efficiency of water network analysis.

Juan Sebastián Duque obtained their Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering from Universidad de Los Andes, where they studied from 2004 until 2009. During their time at this institution, they developed a specialization in the field of environmental studies. Additionally, from 2006 to 2009, Duque attended École des Mines de Saint-Étienne, where they pursued a degree in ICM, with a specific focus on Environmental Sciences. These educational experiences provided Duque with a comprehensive background in environmental engineering and contributed to their expertise in this field.
