Marie Demselius

Marie Demselius is an accomplished compliance and risk management professional with extensive experience in the financial sector. Currently serving as the Chief Compliance Officer at Qred since August 2025, Demselius previously held the same position at Avida Finans AB from October 2021 to June 2025. Prior to that, roles included Head of Compliance at Bambora AB, Head of Credit and Compliance at Danske Bank, and Chief Credit Officer at Intrum. Beginning a career at Swedbank in 1989, Demselius progressed through various leadership roles, including Head of Risk Control and multiple officer positions. Academically, Demselius holds a Master of Law degree from Lund University and a certification as a Board Member from The Swedish Academy of Board Directors.
