Tobias Bergström

Tobias Bergström is a highly experienced professional in power electronics and electric drive systems, currently serving as the Sr Technology Leader at QRTECH AB since December 2020. In this role, Tobias collaborates with Semikron-Danfoss Germany to enhance electrification efforts and cultivate OEM client relationships, focusing on the industrialization of SiC MOSFET-based traction inverter technology for various applications. Previously, Tobias held several key positions at American Axle & Manufacturing from July 2010 to November 2020, where responsibilities included business development for electric drive units and leading power electronics initiatives. Earlier experience includes roles at Volvo Cars, General Motors, and SEGULA Technologies, contributing to advancements in infotainment systems, all-wheel drive technologies, and automotive engineering. Tobias holds a Bachelor of Engineering with Honours in Electrical Engineering, obtained between 1994 and 1998.
