Justin Byrne

Justin Byrne has extensive work experience in the medical imaging field. Justin began their career in 2005 as a Radiographer/Sonographer at Queensland Diagnostic Imaging, where they worked until December 2008. In 2009, they joined QScan Everton Park as a Senior Sonographer and worked there until 2017. During their time at QScan Everton Park, they gained significant experience and expertise in ultrasound imaging. In 2017, Byrne joined Qscan Group as the Clinic Manager at Qscan Everton Park and later took on roles such as 2nd In Charge Sonographer in Brisbane & Gold Coast, Sonographer in Charge, and Area Manager. In 2019, they moved to Queensland Radiology Specialists as the Chief Sonographer, a position they held until May 2022. Most recently, in May 2022, they took on the role of National Modality Head for Ultrasound at Qscan Group. Throughout their career, Byrne has demonstrated a strong commitment to providing high-quality medical imaging services.

Justin Byrne received a Bachelor of Applied Science degree in Medical Imaging Technology with a focus on Diagnostic Radiography from QUT (Queensland University of Technology) in 2004. In 2007, they pursued further education and completed a Post Graduate Diploma in Diagnostic Medical Sonography/Sonographer and Ultrasound Technician from QUT. Continuing their educational journey, Justin obtained a Master's degree in Business Administration and Management from Griffith University between 2014 and 2017.
