Iyubu Solange

Iyubu Solange is a skilled software developer currently working at QT Global Software since August 2022, where responsibilities include designing applications and producing optimized source code. As the founder of URWEJO TECH HUB since January 2022, Iyubu oversees the organization’s strategic direction and performance management. Previous experience includes serving as an OpenSkies Mentor at OpenMap Development Tanzania from July 2022 to June 2023, and as a software engineer at MeshPower Ltd. in Rwanda from January 2020 to July 2022, focusing on the development and maintenance of software systems. Iyubu has also held educational roles at Carnegie Mellon University as a teaching assistant and student administrative support staff. Educationally, Iyubu holds a Master's degree in Electrical and Computer Programming from Carnegie Mellon University and a Bachelor's degree in Electronics and Communication Systems from the University of Rwanda.
