Carrie Hillier is an experienced professional currently serving as an Associate in the Client Advisory Division at Queensland Treasury Corporation since September 2019. Previously, Carrie held the position of Manager at Shipwrecked Group Pty Ltd from November 2012 to January 2020. Additionally, Carrie contributed to the Civil Aviation Safety Authority as an advocate on the Unmanned Aircraft Systems Standards Sub-Committee Strategy Working Group, focusing on local government interests in RPAS regulatory discussions between August 2016 and February 2017. As Manager of Local Government RPA Gateway Service and Infrastructure Innovations at Local Government Infrastructure Services from September 2007 to February 2017, Carrie was responsible for the design and delivery of Queensland’s RPA Gateway Service, promoting the integration of RPAS in local government operations. Carrie began career as a Project Manager for Demand Management at the City of Gold Coast from January 2006 to September 2007. Carrie holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) and a Bachelor of International Business from Griffith University, alongside a Certificate of Legal Business Skills from The College of Law Australia.
