Scott Kernachan

Scott Kernachan is the current Managing Director of REL at QTS Group. Scott has held this position since August 2015. Prior to this, they were the Head of Electrification (EGIP) at Costain Group PLC from March 2014 to July 2015. In this role, they were responsible for delivering electrification on the EGIP program. From April 2019 to June 2021, they were the Executive Director at Rail Electrification Limited (QTS Group). In this role, they were responsible for strategy, business growth and operations. Prior to this, they were the Managing Director at First Group Contracting Limited from January 2007 to July 2016. In this role, they were responsible for facilities management to the banking and retail sectors.

Scott Kernachan was educated at Lochend Secondary School.

Scott Kernachan reports to Alan McLeish, Managing Director. Scott Kernachan works with Norman Mackenzie - IT Manager, Alex Borthwick - Bid Manager, and Brian Gray - Operations Manager, Drainage & Other Services.
