Shawn Gilcher's work experience began in 2004 as a Night Security personnel at Cedar Island Marina. In 2007, they worked as a Counselor at Berea Children's Home & Family Services, followed by various roles at Arts and Sciences Preparatory Academy, including First Grade Teacher, Title 1 Teacher, 21st Century Grant Director, and Title 1 Director. From 2004 to 2007, they also worked in Media Services at Baldwin Wallace University. Shawn Gilcher earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Elementary Education and Teaching from Baldwin Wallace University, where they studied from 2003 to 2007.
