Brett Kirkland is an experienced finance professional with a robust background in accounting and management. Since August 2022, Brett has served as Controller at Quadel, following a similar role at ANC from August 2021 to November 2022. Prior positions include various roles at Cleco from June 2012 to August 2021, where responsibilities ranged from Supervisor of General Ledger to Director of Accounting Policy and Research. Additional experience includes serving as Senior Accountant at LSU Alexandria and Staff Accountant at both Payne, Moore and Herrington and KPMG. Brett began a military career as a Sergeant in the United States Marine Corps from June 2002 to May 2008. Brett holds a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and Business/Management from Northwestern State University, obtained between 2004 and 2008.
