Daniel brings over 20 years of experience working with leading organizations in the sustainable finance and impact investing field, coupled with a deep understanding of sustainability challenges and longstanding track-record in financing impactful companies that are providing solutions to some of our most important social and environmental problems.

Before joining Quadia, Daniel worked as head of asset management with the Symbiotics Group, investing in micro- and SME finance in emerging and frontier economies. In previous assignments, Daniel has been senior advisor to Dutch-based Triodos Investment Management, assisting to develop and launch a long-term private equity fund focused on organic food and sustainable consumer companies in Europe. Daniel also served as senior investment officer with the Ethos Foundation in Geneva, providing socially responsible fund management to Swiss institutional clients, as co-head of responsible investment with the Wegelin Private Bank (today Vontobel) and as lending officer in the renewable energy and organic food sectors with Triodos Bank.

Daniel holds degrees in Economics (B.A.) from the University of Pennsylvania and in International Relations (M.A.) with a specialization in international environmental policy from the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy, with additional advanced training in Banking and Corporate Finance.

Daniel currently serves on the boards of the Polish Krzyżowa Foundation for Mutual Understanding in Europe and of two Liechtenstein-based foundations active in social and environmental fields.
