Dimitra Lamprinaki

Dimitra Lamprinaki currently serves as a Research Fellow at Quadram Institute, focusing on the molecular mechanisms of gut microbes and immunity, particularly the role of host lectins in gut homeostasis. Previous positions include Research Scientist at the University of Alberta, where research centered on glycobiology, and various roles at Quadram Institute, which involved investigating interactions between colorectal cancer-associated bacteria and innate immune cell lectins during a PhD and as a Research Assistant. Additional experience includes participation in an i-teams project, research assistance at the Institute of Food Research in gut glycoimmunology, internships in dietary health impacts and hydration indices, and a chemist role involving chemical analysis. Dimitra Lamprinaki holds a Master's degree in Human Nutrition, Public Health, and Policies from Agricultural University of Athens and a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from the University of Crete.
