Rokas Juodeikis

Research Fellow at Quadram Institute

Rokas Juodeikis is a Research Scientist at Quadram Institute since October 2019, collaborating with Professors Simon Carding and colleagues. Previously, Rokas served as an Industrial Postdoctoral Research Associate at the University of Kent from October 2016 to October 2019, focusing on developing a commodity chemical pathway in partnership with ZuvaSyntha, where multiple issues related to biosynthesis and analysis were resolved. Prior experience includes a role as a Laboratory Demonstrator at the University of Kent during the doctoral studies from September 2012 to August 2016 and a Laboratory Technician position at the University of York following an undergraduate project in August 2012. Rokas also participated in a SGM Summer Studentship at the University of York in June 2011, developing a fluorescence-based system for quantifying promoter states. Educational credentials include a PhD in Microbiology from the University of Kent (2012-2016) and a B.Sc. in Biochemistry from the University of York (2009-2012).
