Alberto Mercado Ramos

Alberto Mercado Ramos has a strong background in software engineering and development. Alberto has experience working as a Full Stack Software Engineer at Quadrature, where they conceptualized, planned, developed, delivered, and maintained multiple full stack web applications. Alberto also worked as a Software Engineer at Thought Machine, where they focused on the development, testing, and maintenance of complex web applications and the middleware GraphQL layer. Additionally, Alberto worked as a Web Developer at Smarkets, where they were responsible for the development and maintenance of internal web tools. Alberto has also worked as a Full Stack Software Engineer at Silicon Rhino, where they worked on various projects for startups. Prior to their software engineering roles, Alberto gained experience in project coordination and documentation in the electronic security field at ELECTRONICA QUANTUM C.A., and as an Electrical Engineer intern at C.A. Metro de Caracas, where they developed a highly-rated project focused on power factor correction. Alberto also has experience in store management and team coaching as an Assistant Store Manager at Starbucks.

Alberto Mercado Ramos completed their Master of Science - MS in Sustainability Studies at London South Bank University from 2017 to 2018. Prior to that, they pursued a Bachelor of Science - BS in Electrical and Electronics Engineering at Universidad Central de Venezuela from 2005 to 2011.
