Choon Tan

Choon Tan is a highly experienced legal professional with a diverse range of roles in the finance industry. Choon is currently working as a Legal Counsel at Quadrature since July 2022. Prior to this, Choon served as the Head of AHL Product Legal at Man Group from May 2020 to June 2022. Choon also held the position of General Counsel at Asper Investment Management from January 2019 to May 2020.

Choon has a long history of working at Winton Group, where they held several senior positions. Choon served as a Director, Senior Counsel from January 2016 to October 2018, and as a Senior Vice President, Senior Counsel from January 2016 to December 2016. Prior to these roles, they served as a Senior Counsel from May 2012 to December 2015 and as a Legal Counsel from September 2008 to April 2012.

Choon's career started at Osborne Clarke, where they worked as a solicitor from September 2006 to September 2008. Prior to this, they gained valuable experience as a trainee solicitor from August 2004 to September 2006. Throughout their career, Choon has consistently demonstrated their expertise in legal matters within the finance industry.

Choon Tan began their education at the University of Nottingham in 1998, where they pursued a BA degree in Law with German. Choon attended this university until 2002. In 2003, they enrolled at the University of the West of England to pursue a LPC degree in Law, completing their studies in 2004. During the same year, they also studied Mandarin language at Shanghai Jiao Tong University. In 2000 and 2001, Choon Tan attended Leibniz Universität Hannover, where they studied German and EU Law.
