Jeff Watt has extensive experience in the field of systems administration and technology infrastructure. Jeff started their career at Bank One in 1998, where they held various positions in systems administration, including desktop support, server support, and information security administration. During this time, they primarily focused on Windows systems and also worked on firewall administration and secure business partner connectivity.
In 2002, Jeff joined Interpublic Group as a Systems Administrator before moving on to JP Morgan Chase in 2003, where they worked as a Desktop System Engineer. In this role, they worked on strategic implementation of desktop computer systems and standards, participated in software QA processes, automated repetitive tasks, and provided 3rd level support for Windows platforms.
In 2005, Jeff joined Jump Trading, LLC as a Systems and Storage Administration Team Manager. In this role, they managed system administration and storage administration teams, and also performed hands-on work with technologies such as Windows/Linux systems, SAN/NAS storage, and backups.
In 2013, Jeff joined Hard Eight Holdings LLC as a Network and Systems Engineer, where they worked until 2017. At Hard Eight Holdings LLC, they focused on network and system engineering.
From 2017 to 2023, Jeff worked at Maven Securities, first as the Front End Services Lead and later as the Technology Infrastructure Lead / Head of Core Infrastructure. In these roles, they were responsible for managing technology infrastructure and leading the front-end services team.
Currently, Jeff is working at Quadrature as the Systems Engineering Lead - Research and Trading.
