Timofey Chernov, Ph.D.

Timofey Chernov, Ph.D. has a diverse range of work experience. Timofey started their career at Smart Engines in 2012, where they held multiple roles including Lead Software Engineer, Product Manager, and Director. In 2014, they joined the Federal Research Center "Computer Science and Control" of Russian Academy of Sciences as a Researcher, a position they held until 2019. Since 2019, they have been working at Quadrature as a Quantitative Developer.

Timofey Chernov, Ph.D., began their education in 2008 at the National University of Science and Technology "MISIS" (Moscow Institute of Steel and Alloys), where they pursued an Engineer's degree (Specialist) in Applied Mathematics. Timofey successfully completed this program in 2013.

Continuing their academic journey, from 2013 to 2017, Chernov remained at the National University of Science and Technology "MISIS" as a PhD Candidate, specializing in Computer Science.

In 2018, Chernov further advanced their education by attending the Federal Research Center "Computer Science and Control" of Russian Academy of Sciences. Here, they obtained their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Computer Science.
