Tudor Paraschivescu

Tudor Paraschivescu has a diverse range of work experience in the fields of quantitative development, software engineering, machine learning research, and internships.

Starting from 2017, Tudor worked as an Undergraduate Research Opportunity Project intern at Computer Lab Cambridge, where they developed an open-domain Dialogue System using TensorFlow.

In 2018, they had a summer internship at Man AHL, where they created a dashboard for the Risk & Analytics team and used tools like Prometheus, Alerta, Grafana, Git, and Jira. Tudor also worked on leveraging TensorFlow for GPU migration in the AI team.

Moving on to 2019, Tudor worked as a Software Engineer Intern at Google.

From 2020 to 2021, they worked as a Machine Learning Researcher at emotif.ai, where they focused on ML models and applied them in e-commerce copywriting. Tudor developed pipelines for data intake and post-processing.

Starting from 2021 until 2023, Tudor joined YouTube as a Software Engineer, specializing in Graph Machine Learning. Tudor worked on combating abuse on the platform by leveraging graph models and helping other teams with their specific use-cases.

Finally, as of 2023, Tudor works as a Quantitative Developer at Quadrature.

Tudor Paraschivescu completed their education with a Master of Philosophy (MPhil) degree in Machine Learning and Machine Intelligence from the University of Cambridge in 2020. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Computer Science from the same institution in 2019. Their academic journey began at Petru Rares, Piatra Neamt, where they completed their high school education specializing in Mathematics and Computer Science from 2012 to 2016.
