Claudia Eftimie, CFA has an extensive work experience in the finance industry. Claudia is currently the Head of Business Development German-speaking Switzerland at QUAERO CAPITAL, starting in 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a Senior Sales Switzerland at ODDO BHF from 2020 to 2022. Claudia was also the Head of Business Development & Distribution at Kieger AG from 2019 to 2020. From 2017 to 2019, Claudia held the role of Region Head at DECALIA Asset Management. Before that, they worked as a Senior Sales Switzerland at Bellevue Asset Management from 2015 to 2017. Claudia was the CEO of Maison Takuya from 2012 to 2014. Claudia started their career at Banque Syz & Co in 2004, where they held various roles including Senior Vice President - Chief Product Specialist & Head of Global Accounts, Institutional Client Development - Region Head German-speaking countries and UK, and Senior Vice President - Institutional Sales. Claudia also worked as a Vice President - Senior Equity Analyst at Bank Julius Bar from 2001 to 2004. Claudia's early career includes the role of Analyst - Head of Consumer Goods at Lombard Odier & Cie from 1994 to 2001.
Claudia Eftimie, CFA holds a lic.oec HSG degree in Economics from the University of St.Gallen, which they completed from 1988 to 1994. Claudia later pursued a CFA designation from the CFA Institute, which they obtained from 1996 to 1998. Recently, in 2020-2021, they completed a Certificate of Advanced Studies in Sustainable Finance from the University of Zurich.
