Deborah Gewinner

Deborah Gewinner has extensive experience in legal and compliance roles. Deborah is currently the Head of Legal and Compliance at QUAERO CAPITAL since June 2023. Prior to this, they held the position of Directeur BG SICAV Luxembourg at Boussard & Gavaudan SICAV Luxembourg starting from August 2018. Deborah also served as the Directeur BG Fund ICAV Irlande at Boussard & Gavaudan Fund ICAV from September 2019 until December 2023. Deborah has been a Partner Global Head of Legal and Compliance at Boussard & Gavaudan, holding this position from October 2007 to June 2023, October 2014 to April 2021, and October 2007 to October 2014. Deborah also has experience at Autorité des marchés financiers (AMF), where they held positions such as Responsable du pôle réglementation et information des émetteurs at Direction des émetteurs from January 2006 to September 2007, and Chargée de Mission à la Direction des affaires juridiques from January 1998 to January 2006. Additionally, Deborah worked as a Juriste at Etude Bonnant & Warluzel Genève from November 1996 to August 1997.

Deborah Gewinner holds a Certification en Finance Durable from AFG, with a focus on ESG. Deborah also obtained a Certification AMF from AFG. In 2021, they completed the Certified Investment Fund Director Programme at the Certified Investment Fund Director Institute CIFDI, specializing in finance. Additionally, they earned a Fundamental of alternative investments certificate program from the Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst Association in the same year. Earlier in their education, they received a DEA in Droit des affaires et des marchés financiers from Université Robert Schuman (Strasbourg III) in 1996. Deborah also holds a master's degree in Droit des affaires from Luiss Guido Carli University, obtained in 1995. Deborah'seducation history spans from 1994 to the present, with their most recent degree expected to be completed in 2023.
