Gaetano Giacalone

Gaetano Giacalone has over twenty years of experience in the IT industry. Gaetano began their career in 1998 as a System Administrator at Miro Technologies, where they were responsible for upgrading and patching applications and database schemas, as well as programming in PL/SQL, SQL, UNIX shell scripting and Uniface runtime data exporting and importing. In 2008, they joined Qualcomm as a Senior IT Engineer, where they were accountable for building, provisioning, maintaining, and monitoring web applications. Gaetano also participated in 24/7 support of the web applications and hosts, and conducted research and development for new and existing tools, processes, and tasks. In 2018, they moved to Volt Workforce Solutions as a Senior DevOps Engineer. Currently, they are employed as a DevOps Engineer at Quake Global since 2019.
