Jos Veenstra

Jos Veenstra has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Jos started their career in 1997 at Tebodin, where they held several positions until 2004. Jos then worked as an Account Manager at Gouda Vuurvast in 2004. From 2005 to 2008, Jos worked at Quaker Houghton as a lead buyer and later as the European Purchasing Manager. In 2009, they worked as a Purchaser at Ciba. Jos then joined van Wijhe Verf B.V. in 2010 as an Inkoper, responsible for purchasing raw materials. From 2012 to 2016, they worked as the Business Development Manager at Lankhorst Engineered Products bv, focusing on the oil and gas, construction, and heavy industries. Jos Veenstra then became self-employed under J.A. Veenstra, where they provided interim procurement management and business management services. As a self-employed professional, they also worked as a Procurement Manager at Quaker Chemical Uithoorn. Since 2018, Jos has been working at Quaker Houghton again, first as the Purchasing Manager EMEA and currently as the Director of Procurement - EMEA.

Jos Veenstra obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from the Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences, which they attended from 1993 to 1997.
