Tom Demopolis is an accomplished professional in the field of innovation and research and development within the metalworking and fluid technology sectors. Currently serving as the Director of the Center of Innovation for Forging and Forming Technologies at Quaker Houghton since August 2019, Tom leads global deformation efforts and manages new product development for diverse forming and forging activities. Prior experience at Houghton International from January 1997 to July 2019 includes roles as Innovation Leader in Drawing and Forming, Innovation Leader in Esters and Fluid Power, and various technical director positions focusing on offshore, hydraulic, and heat treating fluids. Tom holds a PhD in Chemistry and Polymers from Case Western Reserve University.
