Bala Thalla

Bala Thalla is the Director of Engineering at Qualcomm, a position held since 2016. With several years of experience in physical design for mixed signal IPs and a strong understanding of design flows and methodologies, Bala has specialized in areas such as floorplanning, clock tree synthesis, and static timing analysis. Prior to their current role, Bala held multiple engineering positions at Qualcomm from 2007 to 2012, leading teams in the development of prototype chips for new technologies. Bala earned a Master of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from San Jose State University and a Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering from Dr. M.G.R Engineering College.
