Bill Rose is an accomplished Computer Chip Engineer with extensive experience in the semiconductor industry, currently employed at IBM since October 2018, focusing on chip timing engineering. Prior to IBM, Bill served as a Senior Staff Engineer at Qualcomm from October 2014, specializing in static timing analysis for advanced process nodes including 14 nm, 10 nm, and 7 nm technologies. Bill's earlier career at IBM spanned two decades, during which Bill held various roles, including Senior Engineer in the ASIC Design Center, where leadership involved managing a global team and achieving full-chip timing closure using IBM's STA tool, EinsTimer. Additional roles included Advisory Engineer in both the ASIC Design Center and MWave DSP Division.
