Brian Banister is currently serving as the Senior Vice President of Engineering at Qualcomm. Brian leads the Systems and Test for cellular wireless development. Prior to this role, Brian was the Vice President of Engineering leading the Modem Technology Systems group, where Brian focused on developing cellular modems and enhancing users' mobile device experience. Brian started their career at LSI Logic as a Staff Engineer, working on modem architecture and algorithm development for GSM and cdma2000 cellular modems. Brian holds a PhD in Electrical Engineering with a focus on Communications from UC San Diego.
