Charapov Alexandre

Charapov Alexandre is a Staff Engineer at Qualcomm, bringing over 20 years of experience primarily in ASIC and FPGA design, especially in modem technology. Previously, Charapov held significant roles at various companies, including Rockwell Semiconductor Systems, Nortel Networks, and Texas Instruments, where they contributed to numerous projects in DSP, Turbo decoding, and modem interfaces. Charapov has garnered a reputation for excellent debugging skills and innovation, having received the Qualstar Diamond award for a low power solution in turbo-decoder design. Charapov holds a Master's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from San Diego State University and a Master's degree in Automated Control Systems from Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology. Currently, they are pursuing further education at San Diego State University.
