Darshan Jetly

Darshan Jetly serves as Senior Director of Technology at Qualcomm since 2001, leading a global team focused on the design, production, and commercialization of virtual reality (VR) and augmented reality (AR) chipsets. Jetly has held multiple roles, including Principal Engineer and Project Engineer for VR/AR, where communication with key customers ensured compliance with power performance and area requirements. Contributions include co-leading AI research projects, spearheading the development of Qualcomm's first machine learning product, and managing a $12M 5G prototyping platform. Previous experience also includes digital design and verification roles, with a foundational education comprising a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Southern California and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Alberta.
