Gerardo Giaretta

Gerardo Giaretta is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the telecommunications industry, currently serving as VP & GM of 5G RAN Infrastructure at Qualcomm since May 2007. In this role, Gerardo manages the P&L and roadmap for 5G RAN Infrastructure, including vRAN/ORAN, small cells, and private networks. Previously, Gerardo held several key positions at Qualcomm, including Head of 5G Infrastructure Business and Senior Director of Product Management, where responsibilities included the introduction of 5G technologies and product management for modem solutions. Gerardo's background also includes mentoring startups at H-FARM and working as a Wireless Networking Engineer at Telecom Italia Lab. Gerardo holds a Master of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Università degli Studi di Padova.
