Grace Yao is a seasoned engineer with a strong background in electrical and computer engineering. Currently serving as a Senior Engineer at Qualcomm since January 2020, Grace specializes in Wireless R&D Hardware. Previous experience includes working as an Electrical Engineer at L3Harris Technologies and as a Teaching Assistant at Caltech, focusing on Digital Electronics and Design with FPGAs and VHDL, as well as Design and Construction of Biodevices. Additional roles include leadership as Head Organizer at Hacktech and internships at Iris Technology, Los Alamos National Laboratory, and Laserfiche. Grace holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from Caltech and is pursuing a Master of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering at UC San Diego, expected to graduate in March 2025.
