Marcel Giesen

Marcel Giesen is currently the Senior Director of Technology Development at Qualcomm, where they focus on the development of BAW micro-acoustic technology. Prior to this role, Marcel gained extensive experience at NXP as a Project Manager for RF-MEMS, and at EPCOS as Director of Engineering and later Director of Operations Front-End MEMS. Their career also includes a position at TDK as Vice President of Operations, where they led the development of wafer-level cavity packaging for Micro-Acoustic Devices. Marcel earned a Master of Science in Chemical Engineering from Universiteit Twente after completing their VWO at St. Ludger College.
