Reza Ebrahimi

Reza Ebrahimi is a PhD candidate at the University of Toronto, where they focus on machine learning and its applications in fMRI data analysis under the supervision of Prof. Ashish Khisti. With a background in Electrical Engineering and Communication Systems from the University of Tehran, Reza previously led the Indoor Positioning Team at Sarveen Technologies and worked as a research assistant exploring indoor localization at the Wireless Multimedia Communication Lab. Currently, they are engaged with the Kimel family translational Imaging-Genetics lab at CAMH, applying machine learning to understand social cognition in individuals with Schizophrenia Spectrum Disorders. In 2023, Reza took on a role as an AI Researcher at Qualcomm.
