Wilson Kwan is a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience in engineering leadership and software development. Currently serving as Senior Director of Engineering at Qualcomm since April 2012, Wilson focuses on deep learning for mobile and IoT, parallel computing, and Android platform performance. Previous roles include Chief Software Herder at mySpark Technologies, Director of Engineering at AMD and Qualcomm, and Director of Handheld Platform Architecture at ATI. Wilson co-founded Kinesphere Corp. and contributed to the OpenMAX specification at Khronos. Wilson holds a Bachelor of Mathematics degree in Computer Science from the University of Waterloo. Currently, Wilson is enjoying a temporary retirement but remains open to creative and innovative opportunities.
