Dr. Gerardo Gutiérrez-Heredia's lab work and research is centered on flexible electronics for biomedical applications. He received his B.S. in Electrical Engineering (2005) and M.S. in Physics (2010) from the Universidad de Sonora in Mexico, and his Ph.D. in Material Science (2014) from the Centro de Investigacion en Materiales Avanzados, Monterrey (Mexico). Previous research includes using cleanroom facilities for thin-film device fabrication, such as, TFTs, OLEDs, Schottky diodes, capacitors and logic gate circuits, as well as in development of integration processes for flexible electronic applications.
