Valerie Fremont

Valerie Fremont has a long and varied work experience. Valerie started their career as a Research Scientist at the Institute of Human Virology - University of Maryland in 2000. From 2001 to 2014, they held various roles at Trophogen, including Director of Product Development and R&D Group Leader. From 2014 to 2016, they were the Director of Life Sciences and Health IT at the Montgomery County Department of Economic Development. In 2016, they became the CSO/VP Market Development & Strategy at Quality Biological, Inc. Additionally, they have been involved with Women In Bio since 2003, where they have held the roles of National Chair for Global Chapter Development, Vice-Chair Program Committee, Chair Members/Networking Committee, and Chair Strategic Planning 2010-2012 Working Group for Membership Committee.

Valerie Fremont earned their Ph.D. in Neurochemistry and Biochemistry from Aix-Marseille University between 1993 and 1997.
