Quality Care for Children
Sonya Braun is an experienced Training Coordinator at Quality Care for Children since October 2020, with an extensive background in educational consulting and curriculum development. Prior to this role, Braun served as a Trainer at an international corporate office, focusing on client relationship building while delivering professional development across 16 states. As an Educational Consultant for Kids R Kids China, Braun provided guidance on client experiences and curriculum development for international preschools. Previous teaching positions include a Middle School Teacher at Providence Christian Academy, where curriculum innovation and student engagement were priorities, and an Educator at Mount Carmel Christian School Inc. Notable early experience includes serving as an Instructor at Zoo Atlanta and as a Press Relations Volunteer during the 1996 Summer Olympics. Braun holds a Bachelor's degree in Journalism from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and has also attended Mercer University.

For 40 years, Quality Care for Children (QCC) has worked to ensure Georgia’s infants and young children reach their full potential. QCC helps child care programs provide nutritious meals and educational care to young children so they are ready for success in school and helps parents access quality child care so that they can attend college or succeed in the workplace.
