*Research into high school dropouts in Denver led the state Department of Education to change its graduation and dropout metrics to reflect cohort persistence rates instead of misleading, year-to-year snapshots.

*QED was acknowledged by the U.S. Department of Health & Human Services as an exemplar of refugee research when we successfully completed the Refugee Integration Survey and Evaluation (RISE) study, the only longitudinal study of refugee integration ever conducted in the U.S. and one of four worldwide.

* QED Founder & Principal, Gary Lichtenstein, ED.D., has twice been awarded the the William Elgin Wickenden Award from ASEE for the Journal of Engineering Education article each year that exemplifies the highest standards of scholarly research.
