In this role, they were responsible for driving VAC adoption/usage in SNFs (Skilled Nursing Facility) and HHAs (Home Health Agencies), providing clinical support and training for all customers in SNFs and HHAs, identifying potential VAC patients in SNFs and HHAs patient base and facilitating therapy initiation, providing clinical support to patient's home as required, and achieving financial and strategic territory goals for assigned territory.
In their current role as QIN-QIO Program Director at Quality Insights, Biddy is responsible for leading quality improvement initiatives that improve health care quality, safety, efficiency, and patient experience for Medicare beneficiaries. Biddy is also responsible for providing technical assistance to Medicare providers to help them understand and implement quality improvement programs.
Biddy Smith has a graduate certificate in health administration from Capella University, a master's degree in nursing informatics from Capella University, and a bachelor's degree in registered nursing from West Virginia University.
