Lonnie Childress

Lonnie Childress is the president and CEO of Quality Integrated Services Inc. (QIS), an oil and gas pipeline and pipeline facility construction inspection company that provides inspection personnel throughout the United States.

Childress’ 38-year career began as a construction manager and inspector. He later joined Jomax Construction as business development, estimator and project manager. In 1991, he founded QIS.

Childress was a business administration, education, and military science graduate of Panhandle State University in 1969. Upon graduation he became an Army Signal Corps Second Lieutenant; and, within 18 months obtained the rank of Captain. He served as Company Commander of C Company 11th Signal in Darmstadt, Germany, and as Executive Officer of U.S Army and NATO Signal School in Bad Toelz, Germany.

Childress and his wife, Nancy, live in Guymon and Oklahoma City, Okla. They have three grown children, Kristi, Kari, and Lance. They enjoy spending time with their children, grandson, church, and attending sporting events.
