Alfredo (Freddy) Ruiz, CPA, serves as the Founder and Chairman of Empower Youth Foundation Inc., committed to cultivating life skills, financial literacy, and career development in youth since January 2024. Currently holding the position of Assistant Financial Controller at Quality One Wireless, Freddy aims to enhance the company's leadership in the aggregation and distribution sector. Previously, Freddy worked as Financial Controller at Seminole Precast, and in various roles at Verizon from June 2016 to December 2022, including Consultant in Revenue Accounting and Senior Analyst in Corporate Accounting. Freddy's career began as a Senior Accountant at James Moore & Co., where responsibilities included managing client projects related to taxation and attestation engagements. Alfredo (Freddy) Ruiz holds both a Master’s degree and a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from the University of Central Florida.
