Nancy Lim

Nancy Lim has a diverse work experience, starting with their role as an Accounts Receivable Intern at Quality Uptime Services in June 2017. In this position, they efficiently prepared and issued sales orders, invoices, and monthly customer statements, while also building internal process documents and flowcharts to support training of new employees.

In August 2018, Nancy joined Boehringer Ingelheim as a Data Entry Coordinator. Here, they performed heavy data entry and validation tasks for employees' learning activities, processed training and verification forms, and managed email inquiries for the department. Nancy held this role until July 2019.

Returning to Quality Uptime Services in August 2019 as a Financial Analyst, Nancy designed VBA Excel templates for company use, verified the accuracy of incoming vendor invoices with purchase orders, and assisted finance managers with weekly check runs.

Currently, Nancy is a Senior Financial Analyst at Quality Uptime Services since November 2022. In this role, they developed learning plans to mentor and train Account Receivable Specialists, prepared and filed monthly sales tax returns for compliance purposes, and provided operational and financial analyses as required.

Before their professional roles, Nancy worked as a Student Worker for the History and Social Sciences Department at Western Connecticut State University. From April 2016 to May 2019, they supported the department secretary with administrative tasks, improved bookkeeping methods, and maintained Excel spreadsheets for recording department expenditures and student worker wages for budgeting purposes.

Nancy Lim started their education at Henry Abbott Technical High School from 2011 to 2015, where they obtained their GED in CAD/CADD Drafting and/or Design Technology. Nancy then enrolled in Western Connecticut State University from 2015 to 2019, earning a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree with a major in Accounting. Nancy Lim also obtained additional certifications, including a "Learn Java Course" and a "Learn How to Code Course" from Codecademy, both completed in 2021. Nancy is also a certified Notary Public in the State of Connecticut, which they obtained in November 2019.
