Scott Pead is a seasoned software engineering professional with extensive experience in data platforms and team management. Currently serving as the Director of Software Engineering at Qualtrics since November 2016, Scott leads a team of seventy contributors across multiple locations, previously holding roles as a Principal Software Engineer and Senior Manager within the same organization. Prior to Qualtrics, Scott worked at Adobe as a Computer Scientist, where contributions were made to the Digital Marketing Architecture team. Scott also has experience as a Senior Software Engineer and Technical Manager at Move Networks, and has held engineering roles at iArchives/Footnote, Invisible Worlds, and Novell, where foundational work was done on NetWare and messaging services. Scott holds a BA in Computer Science from Brown University and pursued a Post-Graduate Certificate in Big Data from the University of Utah.
