Alan Moon

Chief Executive Officer at QualX Corporation

Alan Moon is the Chief Executive Officer and founder of QualX Corporation. Under his leadership, QualX is organized to support the federal sector in information management, information technology, business processes, workforce development, and policy and strategic program development and operations. His 40-year career has been focused on leadership and the creation, development and management of organizations, programs, plans, and policies.

Prior to founding QualX, Mr. Moon served as the Vice President of Information Management for McNeil Technologies where he managed 460 analysts responsible for a full spectrum of information management and program management services. In this capacity, Mr. Moon directed programs in support of the Departments of State, Defense, Treasury, Education, Labor, and Homeland Security.

Before joining McNeil, he worked as a program manager for SRA International where he provided program leadership for Continuity of Operations Programs (COOP) for the Office of the Secretary of Defense and the Headquarters Department of the Army. In this capacity, he provided expertise on national-level security policy and strategy to formulate program development, establish plans and procedures, and develop Department of Defense-level COOP training exercises.

Mr. Moon is a retired U.S. Army Colonel with 31 years of service and is a graduate of the National War College with a Masters-level degree in National Strategy and International Affairs. He also attended the U.S. Army’s Command and General Staff College, receiving a Master of Arts in Military Science
