Brad Montgomery

Brad Montgomery is an Enterprise Technical Account Manager at Qualys, specializing in developing Vulnerability Management capabilities for customers since January 2022. Previously, Montgomery served as an IS Security Consultant at UW Medical Foundation from 2016 to 2022, focusing on vulnerability management, computer forensics, and SIEM tools, while also managing relationships with pen testing vendors. As the owner of Data Recon, LLC from 2002 to 2018, Montgomery provided computer forensic services to local government agencies. Additionally, a part-time instructor for Guidance Software, Montgomery trained individuals in EnCase software usage and computer forensic examinations. Prior experience includes serving as a Special Agent at the Wisconsin Department of Justice, developing computer crime capabilities, and serving as a Sergeant in the United States Marine Corps during Operation Desert Shield/Storm. Montgomery holds a Bachelor of Science in Administration of Justice from Marian University and two Associate degrees in Police Science and Automotive Technology from Madison Area Technical College.
