John Foster

John Foster is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in human resources, organizational development, and talent management. Currently serving as an Operating Partner at LightBay Capital, John also founded and leads Gamut Labs, where expertise in unlocking human potential is emphasized. As a Coach and Advisor at Quan, John focuses on enhancing employee well-being. Previous positions include Chief People Officer at TrueCar, Inc., where significant business transformation was supported, and SVP Talent and Organization at Hulu, where John built the HR function from the ground up. John has held leadership roles at IDEO, Hewlett Packard Enterprise, Charles Schwab, Levi Strauss & Co., and Fidelity Investments, contributing to developments in organizational design, leadership programs, and talent practices. John holds a Dual BA in Communication and Psychology from Miami University, an MEd in Education with a focus on Experiential Learning from Colorado State University, and has furthered educational endeavors at Harvard University and California College of the Arts.
