Declan Farrell has a diverse work experience in various roles and companies. Declan started their career in 2004 as a Process Engineer at e2v and worked there until 2007. From 2007 to 2011, they were a Microelectronics Applications Engineer at Accelonix. In 2011, they joined Finisar Corporation as a Reliability and Product Development Engineer. Declan then worked as a Product Manager at Bramco Electronics Australia from 2012 to 2015. In 2016, they became a Process/Equipment Engineer (Wirebond and Die Attach) at Infineon Technologies. Declan'smost recent positions include Sr. Manufacturing Engineer and Principal Process Development Engineer at Quanergy, starting in 2018 and 2019 respectively.

Declan Farrell has a diverse education history in the field of engineering. Declan obtained a National Certificate in Electronic Engineering from Technological University Dublin, where they studied from 1997 to 1999. In 2001, they enrolled in The Open University and completed a Diploma in Information Technology by 2002. Declan then pursued a Bachelor of Technology (BTech) degree in Engineering from The Open University, graduating in 2003. Continuing their education, they completed a Master of Engineering (MEng) degree in Engineering from The Open University in 2005. Additionally, Declan Farrell holds a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification from the IASSC, although the exact time of receiving this certification is unknown.
